The most Common CBD oils are typically CBD Isolate, CBD distillate oils. CBD isolate and CBD distillate are CBD extractions where the cannabidiol concentration is greater than the hemp or cannabis plant extraction providing a concentrated CBD oil product.
CBD Isolate: A CBD isolate is considered to be 99% CBD by volume (cannabidiol). So if you have 100mg of a CBD isolate, it would contain 99mgs of CBD and 1mg of other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC, THCV etc. The terpene content of these types of products will depend on which plant was used in its extraction process. The next popular CBD oil would be CBD distillates which have a higher "terpene count" than the latter CBD's. With this type of CBD it is recommended you do your research on CBD rich strains of Cannabis to ensure that the CBD content in CBD distillate comes from CBD rich hemp CBD oil. The CBD isolate and CBD distillate are the two most popular CBD products purchased, however there are other CBD product types which include: CBD Isolate Powder (99%+ purity) CBD Isolate Powder: This is considered to be a pure form of CBD derived from Hemp CBD Oil with an isolate ratio of greater than 99%. This isolated powder can then be further processed by sublimation or Crystallization where it goes through various processes of evaporation and purification. After this process, the end result is a white crystalline power known as 99% Isolate Powder. What is best for you? How to choose? We will get into that in another article. For now, see also Cbd vape for more information.
